Anyone ever heard of that store? Apparently it was only ever in Banff but now they brought it out to Calgary at Market Mall. I went there and they have the COOLEST things-everything is made with natural oils even though I find it is really expensive. They have jelly shower gels that look like actual jello-real soaps and the coolest bath bombs as well. They have skincare and you can get samples of it. One kind I have tried is called GORGEOUS and it makes your face smell sooooooooo nice all day, but it costs $84.00 for a small jar! OMG!! I purchased a small bar of cleanser which has almond grits in it and is supposed to take off your makeup better-almost like an exfoliator and it seemed to work quite well. I am not so sure how good my Burt's Bees cleanser is at taking off my makeup so this new thing will do. I also got this round massage bar that is made of oils (hardened) and has small beans in it that you massage in to your sore areas-so then it smells minty and has that smell of ointment which is REALLY nice! Anyways, it is a neat place and you can even get fresh face masks that need to be in the fridge-but they only have a shelf life of 3 weeks which stinks. Oh well-I did make sure to go back to the Body shop and stock up on my Satsuma butter and showergel! I am a bit annoyed that they raised the price by another $1.50!!!!

I went to that store down in the States, and found the prices ridiculous. And well, I couldn't stop sneezing, so I haven't gone back since.

Yikes, Amy-you aren't supposed to be allergic to a store that has GOOD and healthy stuff in it! lol I am very curious about their deoderant which is just a block that you rub on-at first I didn't like how the wax came off but the smell of sandalwood was on my skin alllll day, it was SO nice!! My cousin bought me 3 bath bombs to use and since I never take baths (showers only) I feel bad that they cost $5.00 each and are now sitting in my room! lol Although I do admit that the Chocolate Orange Lipstuff is sooooooooo nice!!

I don't think it's so much of an allergy as it is a sensitivity. That deoderant sounds kind of interesting, though.

My friend tried that kind of deodorant once - not sure if it was from Lush or not. She said it didn't work at all.

Hmmm Michelle, you could be right about that deoderant-it might have been from this store. It is odd because it looks like a block of soap and when you rub it, some of the wax forms in to small little pieces and rubs off. Maybe that is supposed to happen, but if you rub it off on your clothes, wouldn't that make them dirty??? They also have powder that you put on your pits but I didn't like THAT idea=cause where would all that powder go once you put on your clothes?? lol
Then again I was watching Oprah one day and Dr. Oz or whatever was on and said that you only need deoderant if your sweat smells-otherwise, if you don't create an odor, you don't need that stuff on your pits!!

Well I found some Burt's Bees spray on deoderant made with all natural oils so hopefully that will work...even though I am afraid to put it on and smell like a tree or something! lol

Maybe you should try it when you're just going to hang around your place all day Lisa. Then, if you smelled like a tree, no on would know.

Well there are apparently some Lush stores here, and I'll be going to check them out. If it's environmentally friendly, why not, I was told the scents are pretty great. So I'll be checking it out.

I don't know, I don't like Lush. It's overpriced and the smells aren't that great. I'll stick to Bath and Body Works, I think.
