Lips!

We all have them, some of us put on lipstick, chapstick..all that fancy stuff. What do YOU use for brands? I have to say that I love lip balm and wear that around the house often instead of lipstick. I am now using BURT'S BEES lipbalm which is interesting-it has an odd smell to it but has a very nice peppermint flavor to it.
My mom gave me one lipstick of hers that I LOVE-it is called SALLY HANSEN LIP INFLATIONS-you are supposed to treat it like a gloss or over coat (it goes on clear and is glossy), and it makes your lips tingly and feel like you have ice on them. It is the NEATEST thing out there-my lips don't look any bigger, but the gloss isn't sticky or tacky, it just sits on your lips and makes that nice minty sensation. I love it!

I use Chap Stick and the cherry flavoured. I don't like lipstick, so I just stick to my chapstick!

Where is that simple day? Before colours broke into shades. And how did I ever fade into this life?

Someone at the gym gave me some "grape coloured" lipstick that I really like. (It was new!) I have no idea where it came from though, so when it's all gone I don't know what I'll do. For chapstick, I use Blistex Complete Moisture or Vaseline. Yes, Vaseline. My dentist recommended it when I got my wisdom teeth out to soothe dry lips and it really works. Plus it makes them very shiny!! ~Michelle

In the summer, I don't wear any lip balm or lipstick. I would just sweat and it would run off anyways. That goes for all make-up except eye liner. I HAVE to wear some eye liner (I look so crappy without it ) In the winter months, I like to add a bit of moisture and color. I have a lot of lipstick tubes laying around. I've boughten some Yves Rocher lipstick. I also have other brands around such as Cover Girl. I like the shimmering light pink lipsticks.

How would lipstick run off your lips when you sweat? lol You would be better to get a waxy based type of lipstick or chapstick then, at least it will stick on and moisturize your lips too.
I LOVE lipsticks so much that I have too many-I love to match them to my outfits. There is a new kind out by L'oreal now that is more of a glossy lipstick which is really pretty with sparkles and slightly sheer too.

When I was in the states I bought some of the Gap lipgloss...umm...the "slip gloss" because it was onsale. I love it, so I've been using that while it's nice and warm out. During the winter I use Soft Lips, which is the best lip gloss I've ever had in my entire life. The French Vanilla stuff is amazing...and it really does make your lips uber uber soft!

I've heard nothing but good things about Soft Lips so I ought to really get one sometime. I'm a MAC girl -- MAC lipstick is the best, although I find that their lip glosses are reeeeallly sticky My favorite MAC lipstick is Viva Glam IV -- I've never really seen a similar shade that I enjoyed as much as that one; it's sort of a really really muted fuschia with pearly gold shimmer. I use The Body Shop lip butter to keep my lips soft at night -- it smells great and does wonders on dry winter lips!

I don't wear any kind of makeup or lip stick. If my lips get dry or chapped I use Lip Medex. It has a pepperminty taste and seem to work just fine. I bought some other stuff for cold soare that was made out of gerranium root, cost $15.00 and didn't do much of anything except to make my lips feel oily, yuck.
